One-Stop Sample Sale Shop

October 19, 2010

Addicted to the chase for the best deal, but tired of scouring all of those sample sale/flash sale sites everyday? Well here’s MyNines: the first sample sale aggregator, and the answer to getting through some 70 sample sale sites (smaller, more obscure competitors to Gilt Groupe, Rue La La and ideeli) all before the end of your lunch hour.  You can browse the site by category, deals under $100 or by the day’s featured designers to view an aggregate of products offered from sites like Billion Dollar Babes, Beauty Ticket and eBay Fashion Vault.

Founded by HBS alumni, the site launched in March of this year and is good, though not yet great. They don’t seem to have signed on Gilt Groupe, but I’m sure they’re working on it!

MyNines is a great concept, and a real time-saver with a compelling referral model.  For each friend you refer, you earn 5% cash back of their total purchases for a year. Yes, that’s actual cash and not credit.  My Nines will actually pay you in the form of a check at the end of each quarter.

What do you think?  Would you consider doing nearly all of your sample sale shopping in one place?

I also love shopittome.com, they send you daily emails of things on sale that you pick the designers for. They are in your size and you can order them right off the email. I love it!

Yes, I’ve used it since it launched in 2006. They’ve added so many great designers and retailers.
