Bond No. 9 Donates 10% to Haiti

January 20, 2010

New York-based Bond No. 9 is spreading the scent of peace for Haitian relief.

As of January 15, Bond No. 9 is donating 10% of the proceeds from the sale of The Scent of Peace to help those affected by the earthquake in Haiti. For the next 30 days, the donation will go directly to The American Red Cross to provide desperately needed supplies and aid.

The juice is a floral, woody musk and is sold to men and women alike. Its packaged in the signature Bond No. 9 star-shaped flacon in a soft lavender and is adorned with a dove, the universal symbol of peace. The scent was created in 2006 with civic-minded intentions. Traditionally, a portion of the sales go to Seeds of Peace, a non-profit organization “dedicated to empowering young leaders from regions of conflict with the leadership skills required to advance reconciliation and coexistence.”

The Scent of Peace is available at Bond No. 9 stores in New York and on their website, with free ground shipping on all orders.

Huge fan of Bond – Glad they are doing something for relief efforts… BUT, it would be better if they discounted their already super-pricey scents by 50% then, gave the discounted portion to relief (!)

Consumers would get a stellar bargain & Red Cross more cash!
